Description:

At the 2016 AIA Tennessee state convention, AIA Tennessee collaborated with the River City company to present "Passageways: Activating Urban Alleys through Architecture" as a community outreach project. Jason of center design + build worked with former coworker Jared Hueter to create and curate Passageways. The exhibit aimed to draw attention to the often-overlooked spaces nestled between city buildings, encouraging a fresh perspective on Chattanooga's alleyways. The project sought to transform these secondary spaces into vibrant, meaningful places that contribute significantly to the city's architectural landscape.
