The Yosemite photo montage series comes from several summer spent hiking throughout the backcountry of the Sierra Nevada in Yosemite National Park. The experience of climbing to the top of a mountain or coming upon a panoramic viewpoint can not be fully encapsulate in traditional photography formats. The expansive nature of the Yosemite landscape is difficult to express. This series of photo montages, printed at full scale, attempts to bring the viewer into the landscape. The largest full print exceeds 12 feet long.
