travel sketches

In the winter & spring of 2006, I was given the opportunity to travel & study in both Mexico & Thailand for three months each. Both trips were lead by Cal Poly Architecture professors & focused on the rich contemporary & historical vernacular of various regions. From ancient Meso-American pyramids to the urban congestion of present-day Bangkok, my sketchbook acted as a catalogue for my travels & a place to reflect upon my daily experiences in these foreign environments.
