This project demonstrates how small changes can have big impacts. In the client’s kitchen, the footprint of the island was increased in order to add more counter space, the fridge was relocated and upgraded, and additional aisle space was created between the sink and the island. A coffee bar was added to the dining room, and a new mudroom was created by reworking several closet areas. Laundry was moved to the second floor and closed off with a sliding four door system. A cozy quartzite fireplace and new hardwood flooring in the living room finishes out this Ann Arbor renovation.
